The craziest thing happen to me today while I was costing a decorative wrap. I got the coating to close to the lamp I work by and the coating went into thermal overrun. The free radicals in the epoxy just went off and the fumes were flying and the cup is melting and the popsicle stick is lifting the pot and I'm looking at this going on with sticky fingers and grab the camera for a short but I can't see the fumes in the picture.

Wylie, what kind of cup is that? It looks like a cup you'd see in a restaurant, something they'd serve cocktail sauce in. I'm not being critical, that's what I've been using....

Its gotta be the cup, be grateful you didn't put it on the wrap!!! If you live anywhere near a nuclear power plant you could call it a Global nuclear thermal overrun !! I give this a 10 for the tip, a 6 for the execution, and a 10 for actually taking the photo before running to the next county, which's what I would've done!!!RT

Jeff that's a 3/4 ounce parfette cup I pick up at Smart and Final by the 200 pack cheap. It very well could be the same type of cup you have mentioned.

No smoke in the picture and still an eight you're too kind! Uh, Rapt Tite I did get started with the application of the coating and was in the process when the melt down went down. I wasn't sure if I had forgotten a cigarette in my mouth or what at first and then realized it smelled nothing like tabaco while the coatings just weren't acting right when being spread. Then I go back to the pot for another scoop to spread and my popsicle stick doesn't entry the pot like it usually does, it just kind of hit a rubbery stop.
Look to the right hand side of the picture, the stuff that is real thick looking on the wrap is already hard and gets softer as it goes to the left of the picture. I had to scrap and pick the messy stuff off the thread and think another coat might just pull this rod through.
Thanks for the post I was cracking up while I read it.
Tight lines guys,
Wylie
